Happy Thanksgiving!!

I am so glad that we only had 3 days of school this week...and that we have a holiday! I think I would've ended up in the loony bin had we had one more day!! As you can tell school has been a LITTLE stressful this week. Mainly due to the fact Sarah has had more work to do...I'm sure some of it has been me, too and my hormones....

I didn't mean to start out on a negative note...I really wanted to focus again on being thankful. I have recently been reading a blog about a girl that lost her husband back in August, and a few days after that, their baby that she was carrying. It is www.taleoftwocoins.blogspot.com. In her post today, she told of another girl who is 22 and lost her husband at the beginning of this month-she is 5 mths pregnant w/her first baby. It really makes you stop and think....I take it for granted every day, when Todd leaves and comes home, safe and sound. I am thankful for my husband and the life we share. I don't know what our future holds, but I need to be thankful for every day we get to spend together! I hope if anyone reads this, it will challenge you be to thankful for your spouse..and be glad they made it home today....also, if you think about these girls, say a prayer for them....I couldn't imagine if I lost Todd.

I have had a stressful week, like I've already said, and I've probably added to the stress w/my attitudes and all. I am thankful that I get to have my kids at home...I know what they are being taught, I don't have to worry who is interacting with them (unless it's one of their siblings and they are "mixing it up)-you know what I mean, though, and we all get to be together. The Lord has been so good to us!

Tomorrow we will go to Todd's family first and then we will be with my family in the evening. It is always so hard for me to share time @ the holidays, for a lot of reasons that I won't get into. Then, on Friday, me and my mom are going shopping. My oldest sister usually goes with us, but she is in NC and won't be home for Thanksgiving-they are coming home for Christmas, though... I love the holidays...it's so hard to believe it's almost Christmas again! :-) This baby will be here before we know it....that's a little scary.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Shopping?!!! I want to come!

Thanks for reminding me to add having my husband around as one of the things I am most grateful for. I will say a prayer for both of these women right now.

God bless your Thanksgiving!
