In preparing for my arrival back home, Todd and the kids made a "Welcome Home" banner out of construction paper and hung it above the doorway going into our dining room. I immediately saw it when I came into the house...it was very sweet. I left it hanging there-I really didn't think about taking it down. Well, yesterday morning it was still hanging there, Stuart was going to tell me what it said. He says, "This says, STAY HOME!" I'm not planning on going anywhere for a long time! ;0)
While I was in the bathroom cleaning up, I could hear Spencer talking to the girls. He had gone into their bedroom and asks them, "Can anyone in here change a diaper? 'Cause somebody is poopy!" So funny...as if any of them have ever changed a diaper....at least not on my watch! ha ha With their Daddy here, that could possibly be a different story...I doubt it, though.

You know, absence makes the heart grow fonder. :)
Sometimes I can get Bird to change a wet diaper, but she wouldn't come within 10 feet of a poopy one. It will all come back to them someday. :)
Oh how stinkin' cute, Jen....I want to just give Stuart a big hug!!!
I don't know why, but my kids think changig a diaper is a privilege, and ask to do it all the time. I am so blessed because between my teenagers and Tim, I haven't had to change a poopy one in months. They hate to see me gagging while pregnant. I will miss that in a few months, although Tim and I have a deal that whenever he is home he changes ALL the baby diapers as long as I nurse. Great DEAL!
